High Court Of Himachal Pradesh Process Server Syllabus

** Syllabus for Screening Test, Written Test and Interview for the Post of Process Server (Direct Recruitment)
Written test shall consist of two parts viz. Part- A and Part-B:
Part-A (Screening Test) :
** It shall be in English Language consisting of MCQ type carrying four choices for each question, out of which the correct answer shall have to be given by the candidate on OMR answer sheet by blackening the appropriate circle or any other mode as suggested in the question paper/O.M.R. sheet.

** Each question shall carry equal weightage of one mark. The Screening test shall be of one hour duration comprising 50 questions of 50 marks in aggregate, touching the following subjects:
General Knowledge 50 Marks

Part-B Written test :
Maximum Marks : 40
Time allowed: 1 hour
(1) Essay Writing, in Hindi, on one topic out of three (250 words) 25 marks
(2) Application/Letter, in English, in about 100 words 15 marks
Note: Weightage shall be given to the candidates having good and legible handwriting.

Assistant Librarian Syllabus

Written Test of total 90 marks to be completed in 3 hours consisting of the following:-
Sl.No | Description of the Question | Marks
(i) Essay in English – 250 words 15 marks
(ii) Essay in Hindi – 250 words 15 marks
(iii) General Knowledge (Twenty questions each of one mark) 20 marks
(iv) Library Science 40 marks

(b) Interview of 10 marks consisting of following:
(i) General Knowledge/General Awareness 04 marks
(ii) Experience 03 marks
(iii) Educational Qualification 03 marks
Total: 10 marks

Note :
(i) Final merit list shall be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in written test and interview.
(ii) Looking at the fact that candidates for taking the written examination are more but posts are less, Hon’ble the Chief Justice, in his Lordship’s discretion can also order for holding a screening test containing 100 MCQ Type questions of hundred marks to be answered in One hour and thirty minutes.
(iii) On the basis of marks obtained in screening test, the candidates in the ratio of 1:6 shall be declared to be qualified to appear in the main written test.
(iv) Hundred questions in the M.C.Q. type question paper shall be based on the subjects like General Knowledge, General English, Library Science and Reasoning.

Instructions To The Candidates Written Test

WRITTEN TEST INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Before downloading the Hall Ticket/Admit Card, from his individual Profile under ‘ My Account ’ at the appropriate link provided therefor, the candidate should check very carefully discrepancies, if any, and bring to the notice of the Recruitment Section, H.P. High Court without loss of time, through official e-mail i.e . arrecruitment-hc[AT]hp.gov.in or telephonically i.e., 0177-2653732.

2. The candidates are required to bring along their own writing material & clip board etc. However, answer booklets will be provided by the High Court of HP.
3. The Rules and Syllabus of the written test have already been uploaded on the High Court website for information to the all candidates.
4. Only black and blue ball point pen are allowed to use during the written test.
5. Final merit list shall be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in written test and Interview.

OTHER INSTRUCTIONS:
6. Candidates are required to go through the Rules, other conditions and information uploaded on the High Court website. They are advised to check their SMSs & Email regularly besides checking of official website of H.P. High Court, for obtaining updates with regard to the Test.
7. Use of cellular phones or any other electronic gadgets/instruments, is strictly prohibited during the test.

8. Candidates are required to report at the venue of examination half an hour before the scheduled timings along with original testimonials/ documents i.e., – Admit Card, ID Proof, Educational Qualification Certificate(s)/ Matriculation Certificate, Experience Certificate, Category Certificate, Sub-category (i.e. Physically Handicapped) Certificate and one-set of photocopies of the same duly attested by the Gazetted Officer.

9. Candidates are only being informed about the date, time and venue of the Test through SMS alerts and Email on their registered Mobile Number(s) and email IDs provided by them at the time of filling up of online application form(s).
10. Any request for a change of date/session/venue will not be entertained.
11. This Hall Ticket/Admit Card is subject to the condition that if any ineligibility is detected at any stage, their candidature shall be liable to be rejected.
12. The candidates are advised not to bring any precious articles with them. High Court will not be responsible for any loss of articles.
13. Re-checking/ re-evaluation of answer sheets at any stage is not allowed and no request / representation in this regard shall be entertained.
14. No TA/DA shall be admissible to the candidates appearing in the Test.
